Even though it doesn’t blend that well with reality, I do like the painted fence.
It was a strange, chance discovery on a road trip – I don’t think I’d like to look at it regularly..
It’s like big city graffiti, done by flower children.
perceptive TW cos it’s not in the big city…an area in the north of our state where flower children live
Ah. Then it makes sense, except the huge fence. Is to block off an ugly view?
just found more info – it’s a flood wall and a few years back the local council commissioned this ‘mural’ and had unemployed people contribute to painting it..
oh, i like that… painted fence and real trees merging…

i think it’s perfect for the theme, and the mural is a nice effort to make the wall look beautiful!
true – when I researched it I realised it’s a concrete wall put up as a flood barrier..
