These photos were taken on a holiday on the south coast of NSW. Near Kiama, I came across the Minnamurra rainforest..beautiful walk

A touch of heaven on earth…love these photos and can imagine how glorious it must have been to walk there.
Such a surprise too – hadn’t heard about it..
Just beautiful! The smells must have been intensifying. I would have loved to walk barefoot to feel the texture of that forest floor. The website says that the forest is ancient, and from your wonderful photographs, it appears as if the forest is old growth. The lusciousness of the green color and foliage. What did this forest sound like? I imagine the animals must be plenty and very vocal.
The smells and sounds were strong you’re right. Birds, water…a beautiful discovery for me and so happy it survived! It would have covered a much larger area in earlier times..
There’s something very serene about wildness… if we can temporarily observe it from safe pathways, and don’t have to actually live it.
looks like a beautiful walk
I came across a couple of school groups – everyone was very quiet as though in a library, in awe
I wish I could take a walk. Lovely
Me too Audra – it’s a bit far from here…I’ve only been once.
Beautiful pictures with the light filtering through the trees. Makes me want to go out for a walk myself.
I’d like to revisit that place..though I should perhaps try new directions
Beautiful interpretation for this week theme my friend , I love it thanks for sharing

Beautiful photos. I am amazed at how enormous the rain forest once was. I would love to hear the sounds and see the wild life that lives there. Thank you for sharing
