I love the road home and mountain view. The green is a welcome sight right now. In a sea of white — our back door is buried by so much snow we cannot open it!
I can’t even imagine that Audra!! I’ve never lived with snow..
You live in paradise! In Canada, I always assert that BC is God’s country!
That’s the area I grew up in Diana – it is beautiful isn’t it…my inner city self lives there in dreams
I like both. I do enjoy the inner city as well – the vibrancy and all the people!
Home. Such a peaceful word.
Sadly not for all though TW..
You are so blessed, Annie. These photos look like Eden. Love the gum trees.
Ah..this is not where I live though Kozo, this is where my heart lives
Absolute perfection!
Isn’t it just ?! Lower Hunter…
So very lovely!
Yes, it’s a beautiful part of the world
Where is this place? It looks so peaceful. Green is so soothing.
It is peaceful
Rural New South Wales, Australia..
How beautiful. I feel as peaceful as if I’d actually sat down under one of those trees and gazed at the water for a while. Thank you for sharing … and thank you for visiting my blog. Come back and hang out any time!
Thanks for dropping by mine too Judy
It is lovely, Annie. No wonder you pine for this serenity after being in the city. I’m fortunate to live within 30 minutes of home. It’s a fairly busy area now, but Rich and I live in the midst of lots of rolling hills and farmlands. One day you’ll get out of that city.
Sounds lovely where you live Maddie..I do pine for it and hope you’re right
Beautiful landscapes
Thanks
feels peaceful doesn’t it…
What lovely countryside!
It really is, isn’t it…it’s a vineyard and dairy area.
What a beautiful setting…
I’ve been out of the loop and slowly catching up. TY for your patience.
Eliz
Thanks Eliz – I hope all is well with you x
This is sort of unexpected for me. I was thinking that I would see the inside of a house where you live… but I can imagine that some people feel most at home outside. Thank you for sharing, Annie.
Ah
it’s not so much that I feel more at home outdoors Shimon, but I don’t feel like this house where I live is ‘home’ if that makes sense..and I do crave more privacy, more space around me..I can go there in my head
What a beautiful home. I don’t blame you for missing it.
Is it a working farm or just a house in the country.
Do your parents still live there?
That farm is one I tried to buy a few years back..its in the area I grew up but not my actual old home. My father died a long time ago Rosie, and my mum lives with me…
