hold your dream..

On reading this please do NOT worry about my mental health πŸ™‚

This is merely 33 words in response to this week’s Trifextra prompt (click on the tricycle to see more) which is

‘It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting’ -Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Lottery tickets on the table, real estate website open, farm in my mind. Seachange? Treechange.

What would the combination be called?

Without the dream might have swallowed the nightstand pills several years ago.

  1. I do not worry about your mental health. I’ve read enough of your blog to know you have the strength and resilience to carry you through life’s tough times, even if there’s times you may not know it yourself.

  2. Glad you warned us it was merely a response!

  3. Dreams give us purpose!

  4. Great take on the prompt! Lottery probably saves a lot of lives. πŸ™‚

  5. Math of life. Plans>dreams. Very nice.

  6. I’d guess the combination of seachange and treechange would be ‘meechange’ LOL πŸ˜‰ Best of luck with the lottery tickets! πŸ˜€

  7. I think it’s funny how we often feel the need to warn people that it’s only writing… It’s not reality and no need to fear! Nice take.

  8. Best to leave the dreams for the night.

  9. Streetchange! No warning needed here, Annie. That sounds like me on a daily basis. πŸ˜‰

  10. Thanks for the warning. Otherwise… o__O
It’s nice to dream when you’re holding those silly lottery tickets lol

  11. Dreaming is like lottery -I like that parallel thought-you win some ,you lose some-dreams which turn into reality are like winning the lottery, isn’t it?Great job & glad that the protagonist in this piece decided to hope on & not go the other way-into oblivion:-)

  12. I would think the lottery tickets are no “small change” to win a farm πŸ˜‰

    Thanks for linking up!

  13. In my Psych class, we were studying the consequences of dream deprivation. It leads to depression. So I said to the Prof…”then our dreams are mental BMs.”

He said with a chuckle – “that’s one way of nailing it.”

I believe it is the same whether night or day dreams. You nailed it well, too, Gail, and provided an understanding in 33 words!

Wouldn’t we all?!?!?! Love the seachange/treechange.

  15. Lottery tickets are such cheap dream makers. Like others above, I love the seachange treechange line. {{{hugs}}} Kozo
