Buddhism in the bath, and beyond

I had my bath in darkness tonight and a beam of light connected the flickering candle and my throat. Light entered my throat chakra.

I could glide my knee through the water and not break the beam. It was like a laser in a museum you see in movies, that thieves weave under and over.

Did my mantras in the watery warmth. I don’t think it’s written anywhere that you can’t practice Buddhism in the bath…

And then somehow the beam had moved. Flame and belly connected. Ah but was that the heart or solar plexus chakra? Can’t recreate it now. Light entered me.

So what does it all mean?

Today I heard that a monk I respected greatly has disrobed. I wish him peace with his decision, and profound joy in this life.
