these twists and turns of fate

Let it slide, let your troubles fall behind you….

1.30am, stinking hot, sweaty, Sydney summer, and Rob Thomas is on a loop. Everyone else is asleep.

These small hours, these small hours…

No idea what it is about this song but I think I’ll ring himself, the doctor, when I go to Melbourne. Have a coffee with the man.

These little wonders, oh these twists and turns of fate…

He’s my sliding doors man (well – one of three). I could picture a life with him, could have. Now? – probably not.

Let it go, let it roll right off your shoulder. Don’t you know, the hardest part is over…

Big change happened this year, in a way I’ve long wanted and waited for and yet – nothing has changed.  When the grief lifts, who will I be?

Time falls away…

2015 has to be about profound moves. More weight loss, a physical move? and a heart towards happiness. I don’t expect the southern one to be a part of that but it makes me smile just to think of him so yeah, why not spend an afternoon with him. 😉

Let it in, let your clarity define you. In the end, we will only just remember how it feels…

It’s the heart that really matters in the end…

(not a great clip but just close your eyes, listen to his voice and words)

  3. Annie wishing you a New Year full of renewed energy and a zest for life. Look forward, don’t look back. Peace and joy for you in the coming year. Love Robs music too. Music has a way to sooth my soul.

  5. A thought provoking song, Annie. New doors to open and scenes to explore, all you need do is dip your toe in the water. Happy New Year Rx
